Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to plumbing services provided by Almco Plumbing, Inc. (“we,” “our,” or “us”) in San Diego County and select areas of Los Angeles, California. Due to the nature of on-site services and labor, our refund policy differs from retail product returns.

1. Estimates, Deposits & Payments

  • Estimates are based on visible conditions and information provided by the customer

  • Final pricing may change if hidden or unforeseen issues are discovered and approved by the customer

  • A dispatch/diagnostic fee and/or deposit may be required for scheduled work or special-order materials

  • Deposits are applied to the final invoice

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • More than 24 hours before the appointment: free cancellation or rescheduling

  • Less than 24 hours, no access, or no-show: a late cancellation or no-access fee may be charged and is non-refundable

  • Emergency or after-hours appointments include a non-refundable emergency fee

3. Refunds for Services

  • Completed services and labor are non-refundable

  • If a portion of the approved scope of work was not performed, charges for that portion will be removed or partially refunded if already paid

  • If workmanship does not meet agreed specifications, please contact us within the applicable warranty period so we can address the issue

4. Materials & Special-Order Parts

  • Materials purchased for your job are billable

  • Special-order or installed parts are non-refundable

  • Unused standard parts may be eligible for return within 14 days if accepted by the supplier in original condition

  • Any supplier restocking or shipping fees will be deducted from the refund

  • Labor already performed is non-refundable

5. Warranty Summary

  • Workmanship: up to 90 days from the service date

  • Drain clearing: up to 30 days for the same fixture or line, subject to conditions

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to installed parts

Warranty exclusions include pre-existing conditions, customer-supplied parts, misuse, code violations, lack of maintenance, or conditions outside the serviced area.

6. Customer-Supplied Parts

If the customer provides parts or equipment:

  • No warranty applies to those parts

  • Warranty, if any, applies to labor only and is limited

​

7. Access & Safety

Customers must provide safe access to the work area and disclose known hazards.
If access is unavailable or unsafe, a no-access fee may apply and the appointment may be rescheduled.

8. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first so we can resolve it promptly.
Unauthorized chargebacks for services rendered may result in additional administrative fees.

9. How to Request a Refund or Adjustment

To request a refund or billing adjustment, contact us with:

  • Your name and service address

  • Invoice number and date of service

  • Description of the issue (photos or videos if applicable)

If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Processing time may vary by bank or card issuer.

10. Non-Refundable Items & Fees

  • Completed labor and services

  • Emergency or after-hours fees

  • Late cancellation or no-access fees

  • Permit, inspection, or third-party fees

  • Special-order or custom parts once ordered or installed

​

11. EU Cooling-Off Period

Our services are provided in the United States. The European Union 14-day cooling-off period does not apply.
